About Design102
We are Design102 – the Government Communication Service (GCS) Design Centre. Launched in April 2014, we are a shared communication service providing a wide range of creative design and video services to central government.
The services we provide, and the products we deliver, are many and varied – from helping design and type-set critical government reports, to producing infographics, re-branding organisations, and delivering video & animation content for social media.
We are much more than an in-house design team. As a public sector design agency we save the government money, add value to our clients and strive to drive up the standard of creative design across government.
About this blog
This blog is mainly written by members of the Design102 team, with occasional guest bloggers.
Our aim is to keep you up to date with our progress and the work we’ve been doing, explore creative design, and talk about how this impacts communication in government. We hope you enjoy it.
But it’s not all about us. We also want to hear what you think about creative design and the role it plays in the public sector – so please get involved.
You can comment on any of the blog posts you find here, but in doing so please be aware of our moderation policy.
